In addition to expressing her concerns about Donald Trump, Haley also admitted that she has “even more concerns about Joe Biden.” In a past interview, Haley expressed that “we cannot have a country in disarray in a world on fire and have two presidential candidates in their 80s.”
Haley added that the country needs someone “who’s going to put eight years into making sure that we are disciplined” and able to reach other specific goals. For instance, according to Haley, the candidate should also be focused on “getting our economy, the border, preventing war, and getting our country back on track.”
Haley Did Not Feel Bound To Loyalty Pledge Of RNC Regarding Ongoing Support
Nikki Haley made headlines when she expressed that she did not feel bound to the loyalty pledge offered by the RNC that would require her to show support for the Republican nominee. The RNC reportedly asked Haley to sign the pledge during the early stages of her campaign.
Her argument was that the RNC had drastically changed since she first signed the loyalty pledge. During a campaign stop in Iowa, Haley previously told those in attendance that the United States would not be able to “survive” another four years with Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Haley prides herself on her longtime track record of being a “conservative Republican” that has “always supported the Republican nominee.” However, for this particular election, she has apparently decided to follow the “good advice” provided by Margaret Thatcher.
She quoted Margaret Thatcher as saying “Never just follow the crowd. Always make up your own mind.” She then added that Donald Trump must “earn” the votes of those in the Republican party “and beyond it” that chose not to support him.
Former Defense Secretary Confirms ‘There’s No Way’ He Will Vote For Trump
Former defense secretary Mark T. Esper made it clear that he will not vote for Donald Trump either in the upcoming presidential election. He opened up about his decision during an interview with HBO host Bill Maher.
He stated that “there’s no way” he would support his former boss in the upcoming election. Esper expressed his belief that Donald Trump “is a threat to democracy.”

Esper told CNN in July that Donald Trump is not “fit for office because he puts himself first.” Esper added that he thought “anybody running for office should put the country first.”
